History

Geography

The terrain is rather mountainous with lots of ice and snow the further north you go. The rivers of Aculon are also significant to the country's geography and economy. The Frostflow River, originating from the glaciers to the north, is vital for transportation and trade. Its icy waters are navigable during certain seasons, allowing for the transport of goods and mining resources to seaports. The riverbanks are lined with settlements and trade hubs, where merchants gather to exchange Aculonian goods for foreign products.  Forests are sparse in the higher elevations, but in the lower regions, dense pine forests thrive. These woods provide timber, a resource that is carefully harvested to maintain ecological balance while supporting construction and crafts. The Aculonian government has established several conservation areas to protect these ecosystems, emphasizing sustainable development in an otherwise industrialized nation. The climate in Aculon varies significantly with elevation. The lower altitude regions experience a sub-arctic climate with short, cool summers and long, harsh winters. The mountainous areas are perpetually cold, often cloaked in snow, particularly from late autumn until early spring. This climate attracts tourists to the mountainous terrain for skiing and winter sports as well as to the ice caves and formations that occur naturally within the glaciers.

Economy

Aculon is an upper-middle income economy consisting of major exports listed below. The IPKO ranks the Aculonian economy as the fifth best in the Huggie World. Many analysts predict that one day the Aculon economy will rise through the ranks as they are a up and coming economy. 

Beetroot

The automatic subterranean farms pipe the fresh beetroots through rusted copper pipes that enhance the flavor of the beets, which then travel up a water column to wash them and transport them to the surface, where they are shoveled into storage vats to be processed into jam or energy drinks. Beets&Meat™ has a sister company, Looty&Booty Inc.™, on the second floor of the sprawling facility, but it is rarely used and is struggling to stay in business, as President Brier has been neglecting the business, not properly funding projects and workers, causing strike and displeasure. Beets&Meat™ is taking funds from reluctant investors to collect resources for industrial cow and chicken farms to mechanically process into prime beetroot-infused "Microwave SigmaSaur Chicky Nuggies™" and "Bitten's 83pc of Incredibly Fattening Borgor Patties™" instead of caring for the environment.  It was mainly fueled by BobGuy's mountainous oil rigs pumping gas under the ocean to the plant, but the rig has recently been shut down for the foreseeable future due to a fire breaking out in the oil storage pipe, causing President Brier to redirect efforts and invest his money in materials to build a nuclear power plant on the shores of IslandLand's industrial district while the rig is repaired, which is projected to take extended time. However, there is enough leftover oil to fuel Beets&Meats™ vegetable production for another five months, or four or so if Soren decides to use the BeetCopters™ more often to transport beets and employees to and from the mines."

Red Ice

Red Ice forms when extremely compacted ice comes close to melting. This ice is very durable and can be used for weapons. Its unique properties arise from the increased pressure and temperature conditions under which it forms, leading to a crystalline structure that is both lightweight and incredibly strong. Craftsmen have discovered that when melted and reformed, Red Ice can be infused with various elements, altering its color and enhancing its physical properties. This process can create weapons that are not only highly resistant to damage but also capable of conducting energies or enhancing the strength of the weapon. The vibrant red hue of the ice also lends an intimidating aesthetic to the weapons, making them prized among warriors and collectors alike. Additionally, Red Ice is said to have mysterious properties that go beyond mere physical enhancements. Legends tell of its ability to absorb the heat and energy of its surroundings, making it cooler than its environment and allowing it to be used strategically in combat to give the wielder an advantage. Some say that those who wield weapons forged from Red Ice can harness energies, allowing them to perform feats of strength and agility that are beyond ordinary human capabilities. As the demand for Red Ice weapons grows, the search for sources of this rare material intensifies. Mining it is fraught with danger, as the conditions required for its formation are often found in treacherous, icy locales. Expeditions often face fierce wildlife, extreme weather conditions, and rival treasure hunters eager to claim the precious resource for themselves. In recent years, tales of enchanted Red Ice weapons have spread across the lands, drawing both heroes and villains to seek them out. Mythical warriors have emerged, wielding these potent artifacts in battle, and each new story adds to the growing legend of Red Ice as a source of power and destiny. Red Ice makes up about 37% of all Aculonian exports. 

Demographics

The demographics of Aculon mainly consist of whites along with some grey and islander people. The demographics of Aculon have mainly stayed one race for a very long time due to Huggyo imperialism.

Culture

The culture of Aculon is mainly Jewish. The Aculonian State holds the largest Jewish population in the Huggie World.

The Ice Mines

Located beneath one of the mountains which surround Aculon are the Ice Mines, where prisoners are sent, including war prisoners. Prisoners are sent to mine special Red Ice, which forms when extremely compacted ice comes close to melting. This ice is very durable, and can be used for weapons.

The Great Ice Mine Revolt

The Great Ice Mine Revolt was an event that occurred shortly before the Aculon Civil War. Ice Mine Prisoner count was at an all-time high, and one of the prisoners (Single Pringle Dingle) staged a rebellion against the guards, which resulted in a victory, but also his death. His son, Single Pringle Double Dingle (Dinglehopper) continued his father's ideas of a better country, and led the former prisoners into The Aculon Civil War.

The ADOAF

The ADOAF (Aculonian Defensive and Offensive Attack Forces) is the official military of Aculon, and it has many branches. 

Ground Elites: These soldiers are trained in either ranged or melee combat, and always excel in their field. Some melee soldiers wear specialized suits made of metal, more commonly known as Mech Suits

Pilots: Aculon Pilots are trained for either planes or personal flight suits.

Engineers: Engineers are very skilled in making and repairing Mech Suits, Planes, and Personal Flight Suits

Medics: Medics utilize vast knowledge and technology to care for injured soldiers

Peacekeeping Units: This specialized wing of the ADOAF is made up of soldiers trained especially for keeping things under control. This unit was established  after the First Ice Mine Revolt (not to be confused with The Great Ice Mine Revolt).

Mutant Soldiers: This special wing of ADOAF is made of people willing to subject themselves to scientific experimentation. Most soldiers are given super healing as a result of the experiments, but other powers have been recorded, such as underwater breathing and telepathy.
