Tede

Tede is a republic in the Shadow Continent bordered by the Bistol-Seam ocean and the Shadow Union. The country has a population of about 11 million and is also known as the Land of the Tea. The country was founded in 1658 as a mandate under the Shadow Empire. When the Shadow Empire collapsed in 1768, the Tede mandate and its bordering Haec Republica declared independence. The Shadow Union absorbed the surrounding Tede and Niatnuom Republic during the Great Invasion period from 1929-1945. Tede gained independence once again in 1950 following Shadowist Democracy.
