The Imperial House of Gork is a house in the Gork, North Speeland, the capital, that housed the summer vacation home for the royal family of the Huggie Empire. The building was constructed during the summer heat in 1908 costing 40 million dollars (33 billion adjusted for inflation.) The house was complete in 1910 featuring a 37 mile private road leading to the coast also featuring a 125,000 acre plot. It also housed the infamous Red Room when public executions of criminals would happen and funerals for the royal family relatives. The house was sold in 1941 to a businessman named James Farmington during Huggie World War 4 and the Huggie Revolution. In 1971 an intentional arsonists fire burned down the west wing of the house and was later restored. In 1978 the 37 mile road leading to the coast was sold to the government of North Speeland to create an interprovincial highway system. The government of North Speeland bought the house in 1998 turning it into a museum and it still exists.
The house itself had 16 rooms on the first floor with an additional 10 on the second floor. The first floor consisted of many bedrooms for the emperor and his relatives as well as luxury bathrooms and luxurious kitchens. The Red Room was also disconnected from the main building. The property featured an extremely long road leading to the coast (33 mi) with large black royal fences along the perimeter of the property. The house featured several serf cabins during construction until they were closed in 1911 as well as a 27.97 mile railroad (in total two 13.98 mile railroads intersecting eachother at a station.) The plot also included an artificial pond, several swimming pools, forested areas, paths, trails, and underground connecting parts. Workers would farm and mine all day to have resources and to not pay the $0.01 import tax. These resources were dropped on a train and shipped to the house.
In 1928 the Shadow Union took over Speeland and increased minimum wages, increased import taxes, increased declaration taxes for items bought in the Shadow Union, and increased property taxes. In 1941 the property was in debt and the Huggie Empire was in war so they sold the property.
