On June 6, 2023, the Presidential Palace was attacked using a drone and personnel, attributed to a group known as the Skibidibopbops. This organization has been previously linked to several incidents, including the Huggie Tower bombings and the vegetarian meat eating scandal. The attack was to attack president of the Huggie Union, Liam Souza.
The Corridor Spy Network, conducting reconnaissance missions within the Huggie Union, detected a drone associated with the group at 4:08 PM prior to the incident. A resident of Bugarfkintville reported observing a balloon carrying a heavy black object, believed to be connected to the drone attack.
In response to the attack, the Huggie government sealed off the 9th and top floors of the Presidential Palace as part of an evidence-gathering effort. During the chaos, there was a report of an incident involving a security guard and Liam Souza.
Following the attack, Huggie officials initiated an investigation in the Bedland mines, which had been abandoned for over 15 years. The team spent over three hours navigating into the old mines but reported finding no substantial evidence. However, they did encounter a group of individuals in poor condition who were scavenging for food. It was determined that these individuals had been left behind after the evacuation of the mines.
